Socially Distant But Still United

Creative work, at its core, is not about an ultimate finished product. It’s about authentic engagement with audiences, customers or clients. It’s about an expression that cannot be contained. And it’s about human connection and shared experience.

Creative work, at its core, is not about an ultimate finished product. It’s about authentic engagement with audiences, customers or clients. It’s about an expression that cannot be contained. And it’s about human connection and shared experience.

We thought we were more connected than ever because of technology, didn’t we? But it’s only a consolation prize when we find ourselves needing community more than we ever knew we would.

Still, we must take comfort in the distant and virtual communities that are within our powers to build, and we at Create Birmingham will do our best to be there with and for you with information, insight, inspiration and, hopefully, togetherness while we continue social distancing.

This is an opportunity to check our values, spend quality time with our families, and rally together to invest in the institutions, organizations, local vendors, and people who make up the backbone of our communities.

Because, together, we all create Birmingham.
