COFFEE WITH CREATIVES

Join us on Friday February 14th at Red Mountain Makers for another Coffee with Creatives! Our in-person morning meet-up with Birmingham’s creative community will take place from 8:30 AM – 10 AM and is free to the public. Red Mountain Makers is a volunteer-run, membership-based workspace that provides affordable access to the tools, equipment, knowledge, and skills. They provide a variety of equipment including 3D printers, laser cutters, soldering irons, wood and metal working tools, and sewing machines.
Brew new ideas, forge collaborations, and hear insight from artists, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.
February’s Coffee with Creatives will share insight on Building and Sustaining an Art-Centered Business, and our guest speakers will be Stephen Charles and Brian Arnold. Stephen Charles is the founder of Metalcraft Creative, a custom metal fabrication company. He’s also a former welder, turned Manufacturing Engineer (BA+MBA), turned
Lean Guru, turned executive leader. Brian Arnold is a full-time artist and small business owner in B’ham, AL. He’s been operating as Magic City EDC since 2021 and specializes in boutique handmade trinkets using vintage plastics and other unique materials.
You can follow Stephen on Instagram @MetalcraftCreative, and Brian @magiccity_edc. Brian can also be contacted at magiccityedc@gmail.com.
Following the presentation, all attendees are invited to take a tour of the Red Mountain Makers’ studios.
