Create Birmingham is pleased to announce two new additions to the spectrum of support services we offer to graduates of our CO.STARTERS program.

CO.SHOP and CO.WORK, launching in July 2018, will support the next wave of creative entrepreneurs in downtown Birmingham and encourage further development of a vibrant city center. Both will offer space and opportunity, helping CO.STARTERS graduates expand their networks, grow their customer bases, and test their concepts and products within a structure of shared commitment and investment.

CO.SHOP offers subsidized shared retail space located at Square One Goods, owned by CO.STARTERS graduate Kate Hardy, at Founders Station. Learn More

CO.WORK offers subsidized shared office and meeting space located at Forge Coworking Space, owned by CO.STARTERS graduate Kim Lee, at The Pizitz. Learn More

By clustering with compatible new businesses that offer different products and services but have similar target markets, the selected CO.SHOP and CO.WORK participants will benefit from the increased impact of collective marketing, while we work together to build a more diversified small business ecosystem in the city center.

Support for CO.SHOP and CO.WORK is provided by a grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham.
