Birmingham’s Poet Laureate names Poet Fellows for community reading initiative

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The City of Birmingham’s Poet Laureate Salaam Green has nominated two women to serve as the community’s poet fellows. Karima Moore will serve as the inaugural Youth Poet Fellow and Maati Sanovia will serve as the inaugural Adult Poet Fellow.
